Unitel is among the largest mobile operators in Angola. Founded in 1998 and operating since 2001, it is a pioneer in the mobile telecommunications market in the country, with more than 11 million customers. Since 2001, Unitel has been expanding the range of its services, offering a fifth-generation connection, in 3G, GPRS, EDGE, UMTS GSM, LTE, 5G and NR, progressively increasing the coverage radius nationally. Untel has more than 14,000 km of optical fibre, providing a network capable of supporting the transmission of voice and data calls.
