
The Trade Union Advisory Committee to the OECD is an international trade union organization that has consultative status with the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). Its role is to ensure that global markets are balanced by an effective social dimension. Its affiliates consist of 56 national trade union centres in the 34 OECD industrialized countries that together represent some 61 million workers. It is a member of the Council of Global Unions in partnership with the International Trade Union Confederation (ITUC) and the Global Union Federations.
