Telangana Lifesciences Foundation

Telangana is a leading life sciences hub in Asia housing more than 800 life sciences companies with a combined value of $50 billion. Telangana accounts for one-third of global vaccine output and is regarded as the vaccine capital of the world. The state contributes to about 35% of India’s pharmaceutical production. The state government recognizes life sciences as its priority sector. World-class infrastructure, progressive policies, cluster-based approach and availability of talent create an enviable and unique identity for Hyderabad. Over the last five years, the sector has attracted about 900 greenfield investment projects worth $2 billion.
