Nepal Eye Program, Tilganga Institute of Ophthalmology

Tilganga Institute of Ophthalmology (TIO) is a non-profit, community based, non-government organization focusing on eradication of blindness. TIO strives to be the model for eye treatment, at the forefront of research and excellence in training for the international ophthalmology community. TIO is also closely affiliated with The Fred Hollows Foundation, the Himalayan Cataract Project and A New Vision, all of which are non-profit, non-governmental organizations working towards the same objective - to eradicate blindness.
