The world's largest producer of nylon and polyester yarn, tyre cord fabric and single end cord serving the tyre reinforcement and mechanical rubber goods market. It started in 1973, with a cord fabric factory in Izmit, and by purchases and joint ventures, with partners such as DuPont, it now has 11 enterprises located in nine countries and a workforce of over 5,000 people. It runs its operations from four regions, which are Europe, the Middle East and Africa, South America and Asia Pacific, and has a headquarters based in Istanbul.
