Global Reporting Initiative

The Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) is a non-profit organization that promotes economic, environmental and social sustainability in order to transition to a sustainable global economy. GRI pioneered the development of the world's most widely used sustainability reporting framework, used by thousands of companies worldwide. This framework sets out the principles and indicators that organizations can use to measure and report non-financial performance and economic, environmental and social impacts. It was developed and continues to evolve through a consensus-seeking multistakeholder approach.
