Established in 2002, China Datang is a state-owned mega energy enterprise directly managed by the central government, with a registered capital of 37 billion yuan. Its main businesses cover electricity, coal chemicals, finance, environmental protection, commercial logistics, and emerging industries. As at end 2024, the installed capacity of power generation exceeded 200 million kilowatts.
