Grow Asia

Grow Asia is a multi-stakeholder partnership platform that enables collaboration and catalyzes action in support of national and regional agriculture development. Established by the World Economic Forum, in collaboration with the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Secretariat, Grow Asia convenes, facilitates and helps scale action-focused partnerships. Country-led and locally driven, Grow Asia contributes to food security by working across agricultural sectors and value chains, from farm to fork.

Grow Asia engages Southeast Asia’s farmers, governments, companies, NGOs and other stakeholders to develop inclusive, scalable, and market-based value chains that benefit smallholder farmers—helping them access knowledge, technology, finance and markets to increase their productivity, profitability, and environmental sustainability. It enables stakeholders from different disciplines to leverage one another's expertise, share insights and learn from regional experiences.

Grow Asia launches and supports locally-led partnerships in alignment with country goals. Grow Asia helps to define their strategy, engage new partners, establish Secretariats and develop innovative solutions. Partners collaborate in-country through Working Groups that co-design, co-implement and co-fund value chain initiatives that benefit smallholder farmers. Today, Grow Asia collaborates with more than 520 partners across six Country Partnerships in CambodiaIndonesiaMyanmarPapua New Guinea, the Philippines, and Viet Nam, reaching close to 1.8 million smallholder farmers.
