Prasad Gadkari is responsible for strategic investments and policy advisory at National Investment & Infrastructure Fund (NIIF). He has over 21 years’ infrastructure investing experience across private equity, principal investments, joint ventures, project finance & advisory.

Earlier, Prasad used to be a Partner with IDFC Private Equity where he led the firm’s deals across transportation, urban infra, healthcare and education sectors. In a previous role, Prasad was with General Electric (GE), where he focussed on infrastructure investing and joint ventures in the MENASA region.

Prior to GE, Prasad was with IDFC Ltd where he handled some of the earliest project financing transactions in the country. He was also a key member of the team that provided policy level inputs to the Govt of India for the initial privatisation transactions.

Prasad received an MBA from NMIMS, Mumbai and is a CFA Charter holder.
