PhD in Business Administration specialized in digital economy from Maastricht school of Mgt; also graduated from Harvard Business School. Dynamic 25 years’ career where twenty of them I have been involved and responsible (specifically chosen by regional/international organizations) for drafting ICT and digital economy strategic planning on a national, regional and international levels for the government of Egypt. Currently, I am the undersecretary of the Ministry of Communication & Information Technology, supervising the central dept. of information and Decision support to the Minister. Gained extensive experience in analyzing data, information & statistics to support decision makers on the council of ministers’ level as well as on the ministerial level.
I was the Advisor to Minister of International Cooperation for Western Europe, EU and the European Investment banks during the years 2014/2015. In this period, I participated in many bilateral and multilateral negotiations on grants and loans in pertaining developmental projects representing priority on the agenda of the Government of Egypt. These negotiations ended successfully through signings of several Cooperation’s Agreements valued for Billions of U. S. Dollars.
This work experience enriched my teaching methodology at the University using real case studies providing real exposure for the students. Dealt with Public Administration issues especially in socioeconomic problems with a proven record of accomplishments.
Being an active member in Egypt sustainable development goals(SDG’s) committee formulated by Ministry of Planning. Founder of polls and surveys Center within the Prime ministers ‘Cabinet Information and Decision Support Center (IDSC)
Member in ITU experts’ groups for ICT measurements and Statistics.
