Formerly: 10 years with WWF, leading work on globalisation and green growth, including: establishment of international programme on China's role in creating sustainable global economy . Currently in Maersk, he drives the development of the overall direction and priorities on sustainability as well as leading the company’s approach to and strategy on Climate Change. Lately, John served as advisor from Maersk to Ban Ki Moon’s High Level Advisory Group on sustainable transportation including work on the links between the SDGs and transportation. John has been part of forming the Global Alliance for Trade Facilitation and currently represent Maersk in the Board.
