CEO and founder of Synerise – one of Europe's most advanced and fastest-growing technology companies specializing in artificial intelligence and big data according to the Financial Times (2022, 2023). Since 2010, he has been associated with the AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków as a lecturer and researcher. The company provides both commercial and open-source technological solutions used, among other things, in drug discovery processes. He is also the owner and CEO of the football club TS Wisła Kraków S.A., one of Poland’s oldest and most successful football clubs, founded in 1906. In 2025, he was selected by the World Economic Forum as a member of the prestigious Young Global Leaders program.
Under his leadership, Synerise has won numerous international and national awards, including the Honorary Medal for Merit in the Development of the Economy of the Republic of Poland (2023), Deloitte Technology Fast 50 CE laureate (2021, 2022), Microsoft Partner of the Year awards (2017, 2018, 2019), and recognition as one of the 30 most promising technology companies worldwide by Ernst & Young (2018). The company has also succeeded in prestigious competitions such as the ACM RecSys Twitter Challenge (2021, 2nd place), ACM KDD Cup OGB-LSC (2021, 3rd place), ACM WSDM Booking.com Data Challenge (2021, 2nd place), and SIGIR eCom Rakuten Data Challenge (2020, 1st place). Additionally, Synerise received the EU Leading Innovator title awarded by Google, Res Publica, and the Financial Times. In 2025, the company is also the organizer of the ACM RecSys Challenge – one of the world's most prestigious artificial intelligence competitions.
He has been personally recognized with numerous individual awards, including the Medal for Merit in the Development of the Economy of the Republic of Poland (2023), the title of one of the 30 most promising technology entrepreneurs in the world according to Ernst & Young (2018), the Special Award in the EY Entrepreneur of the Year Contest (2018), the AGH University of Science and Technology 100th Anniversary Award (2018), the Digital Shaper Award (2018), the Polish President Startup Award, Poland AI Person of the Year (2019), CEE x-Tech Awards – AI Innovation of the Year (2019), BrandME CEO (2023), and Leader of the Year by the Data Economy Congress (2025).
Since 2010, he has been professionally associated with AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków as a lecturer and researcher at the Faculty of Humanities and the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Automatics, Computer Science, and Biomedical Engineering. At age 23, he co-founded award-winning innovative study programs, including Social Informatics, E-Economy (recognized as the most innovative field of study in Poland by MNiSW in 2012), and Digital Marketing. In 2019, he received the "AGH Graduate" award for outstanding professional achievements after graduation.
He co-authored interdisciplinary doctoral studies in Data Science at the Poznań University of Economics, served as a mentor at the Polish Development Fund, and was a member of the Council of the "Platform for the Future of Industry" Foundation. He completed two fields of study – computer science and sociology, and is currently finalizing his interdisciplinary doctoral thesis. He regularly participates as a speaker at industry and government conferences (World Economic Forum in Davos, Impact CEE, IDC Predictions, Futurecom, World Government Forum in Dubai) and as a guest lecturer at national and international universities. He is the author of numerous scientific publications, including bestsellers published by PWN Scientific Publishers.
Committed to youth education, he created the AI Schools educational program, implemented since 2019 in Polish schools and kindergartens. He co-authored one of the first, fastest, and most successful crowdfunding campaigns in the Central and Eastern European region.
