Liberian Economist. Formerly, Economic Adviser, ministries of Finance and Planning, Liberia. Formerly, 17 years with World Bank including: Country Director, Benin, Niger and Togo; Senior Country Economist, Afghanistan and Pakistan; Assistant to Principal Managing Director; Adviser in Operations Policy to Vice-Presidency. 2006-08, Minister of Finance, Liberia; launched economic and financial reconstruction after civil war; spearheaded process of debt reduction, which resulted in package writing off over 90% of Liberia's foreign debt. Since 2008, current position, overseeing work in 44 sub-Saharan countries.
