The delivery of high-quality infrastructure is crucial to fostering inclusive growth. However, difficulty deciding the most appropriate procurement plan and the inability to embrace innovations in the field, among other factors, remain major inhibitors to infrastructure development. The Global Future Council on Infrastructure is focused on continuing its work in helping decision-makers find the best finance mix for projects as well as helping government and business in integrating emerging technology into infrastructure financing, planning, development and delivery. Additionally, the council will focus on ways to make infrastructure procurement and development more sustainable and transparent.
