Jaskiran Warrik

Project Lead, Food Innovation Hub, World Economic Forum, C4IR India

Jaskiran (she/her) works to fast-track the development of the Food Innovation Hub in India. She has been a key facilitator of several multi-stakeholder initiatives for the last eight years and was most recently the Director, South Asia for the Organic Cotton Accelerator. She has experience in developing and executing strategic interventions for maximum impact in the agro-commodity production and trade in India with CottonConnect and IDH, the Sustainable Trade Initiative. She is passionate about amplifying the power of start-ups and has a decade’s experience in setting up organisations, initiatives, and teams from scratch.

Born and brought up in Delhi, India, Jaskiran holds two Master’s degrees, one in Green Management, Energy and CSR (MaGER) from Bocconi University, Milan where she worked with IDH, the Sustainable Trade Initiative to develop a domestic sustainability programme on high-value food crops in India. Her second Master’s is in Psychology from Christ University, Bangalore.

In her spare time, Jaskiran experiments with organic composting techniques and growing her own food. She also enjoys reading, travelling, and being wowed by new technologies and astrophysics.
