James Lin is a senior executive with extensive experience in technology innovation and digital transformation. He is currently Chief Product & Technology Officer at Lynk Global, leading the Technology, Product, Design, and Data Science functions. Lynk provides a Software as a Service platform for sharing and managing expert knowledge at scale to democratize access to knowledge.
Between 2010 and 2017, Lin was Chief Technology Officer at Regulatory Data Corp (RDC), a Bain Capital and Goldman Sachs portfolio company founded by 20 of the world’s largest financial institutions.
His technology leadership was instrumental in transforming RDC into the leading RegTech company in AML/KYC risk screening and one of Deloitte's Technology Fast 500 in 2014, 2015, and 2016.
Previously, Lin served as Chief Information Officer for Forbes internet business, one of the most trusted sources of news and information about business, investing, technology, entrepreneurship, leadership and affluent lifestyles. He also managed investment information solutions and led digital transformation initiatives at Merrill Lynch and Standard & Poor’s.
