Azaz Zaman

Assistant Professor, Bangladesh Army International University of Science and Technology

Azaz Zaman, an economist and assistant professor of a business school in Bangladesh, loves to investigate and write on the impact of digitalization on different sectors – especially on the future of work, education and businesses. Mr. Zaman is also a data scientist who conducts professional training sessions on Microsoft Excel and R programming. Besides his long teaching career, he has also worked as a researcher in several national and international research projects and firms, including EPSCoR (USA), National Science Foundation (USA), and the Institute for Policy, Advocacy, and Governance (IPAG). Mr. Zaman has published several journal articles, conference papers and book chapters. He has received several national and international scholarships, including the outstanding young researcher award by the South-Central Climate Science Center (SCCSC), USA, Best paper award by Beaurea of Business Research, University of Chittagong, and others. Mr. Zaman also has conducted different training programs at various organizations, including the National Academy for Planning and Development (NAPD), the Bangladesh government, Labaid Group, and others. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from North South University, Bangladesh and M.Sc. degree in Applied Economics from Oklahoma State University, USA.
