Aimée Dushime

Global Shaper, London I Hub,

Aimée has over five years in consulting gained from working in Rwanda, Kenya, Nigeria the United Kingdom. She currently works in the social infrastructure advisory group of the Deals Advisory Team at KPMG, London focus. Her work involves drafting financial models, advising, and coming up with business cases for governments to secure funding which will allow them develop the infrastructure such as schools and hospitals in the UK. She is passionate about sustainable investment policies and their potential to spur economic growth.

Over and above being a tax professional, Aimée is dedicated to creating positive change her community. She has served as the curator (2019) and vice curator (2018) for the Kigali hub of the World Economic Forum’s Global Shaper Community. She is also the founder of Je Suis Lecteur, a project that is aimed at promoting the reading culture of children in Rwanda.

Aimée is also a recipient of the 2019 Mandela Washington Fellowship for the Young African Leaders.
